About JAMES
With 30 years of leadership, contract and negotiation experience and training, i have chosen a new career in Real Estate. My vision is to apply my past experience and training to help people achieve their personal goals in the acquisition and sales of Real Estate.
Beginning in 1989, i have always had an entrepreneurial spirit, pursuing different forms of sales as an independent contractor. In 1992, i moved into the professional world as an Independent Agent representing AFLAC. Achieving 11 National Convention awards and 1 President's Club Award, i transitioned to Medical Insurance Brokerage Role with Pomeroy & Associates in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2014, i was recruited as a District General Agent with Colonial Life, achieving 6 Leader's Conference Awards and 1 President's Club Award over the next 7 years. i was blessed to lead an incredible team that grew in size and sales volume 1600% over those 7 years. As a TEAM, we achieved the District General Agency of the Year Award in 2020.
Post Covid, our family relocated to the beautiful mountains of Arizona, putting down roots in the quaint, unincorporated area known as Happy Jack, nestled in the Coconino Forest. For the past 5 years, retired from the insurance world, we have explored the world of Homesteading. Learning some of the hardest work and lessons of our life, while homeschooling our youngest children, we have grown into an amazingly close-nit community.
Being blessed with those amazing relationships is how we have now found our niche in Real Estate. While learning trades and working with licensed contractors, i had the opportunity to watch my wife grow as a Real Estate Professional. Being mentored by the #1 Realtor in the area over the past 4 years, my wife has become an expert in our market. After her mentor retired at the end of 2025, we decided i should become licensed Realtor and join my wife to become the best Husband-Wife team in our market.
